The Reevaluations of the Being

Unquestionably, Intimate Self-Realization, the Revaluations of the Being cause deep joy. Certainly, such Revaluations are fundamental and have transcendental characteristics of Eternicity.

Obviously, we have to distinguish between what is the BEING and what is the NON-BEING of Philosophy. Unquestionably, the psychological “I” is not the Being; but people confuse the I, the myself, with the Being.

It is necessary to know that the psychological Self has a beginning and has an end (obviously, everything that has a beginning must have an end). Thus the Self, the Ego is not eternal.

We must be interested, above all, in what is eternal (which is the Being). But we must ELIMINATE WHAT IS NOT THE BEING: We must disintegrate THE EGO.

Obviously, this Ego is nothing more than the result of all our mistakes, all our aberrations, vices and passions. The Ego, undoubtedly, is a bundle, let’s say, of Defects: Anger, greed, lust, envy, pride, laziness, gluttony, etc., etc., etc.

Even if we had a thousand tongues to speak and a palate of steel, we would not be able to enumerate, in detail, all the psychological defects we possess.

Together, they are all the self.

Obviously, the Ego cannot give us real Happiness, since it is itself the result of error. If it were not for the mistakes, the Ego would not exist. We are not only making mistakes in the present, we also made them in the past; And it is clear that the mistakes of the past tend to be projected into the future, through the alley of the present.

In past lives, each of us made regrettable mistakes, regrettable errors, and these haven’t disappeared; we carry them deep within our subconscious. And the worst part, I repeat, is that they want to resurface in the present moment, to project themselves into the future.

All of us are conditioned, unfortunately, by our own mistakes; we have not yet learned to OPEN OURSELVES TO THE NEW: When something presents itself to us, when some truth comes to meet us on the side of the Road, we do not know how to receive it as something new, but, immediately, we appeal to what we have accumulated in the Mind, with the purpose, of course, of interpreting what has been presented to us.

That is, we are not able to see that, as it is, in itself, but we have to interpret it in our own way, according to our psychological backgrounds, according to our prejudices, preconceptions and conditioning. We are not, in any way, capable of opening ourselves to the new with a pure, integral, spontaneous and perfect Mind.

We are CONDITIONED BY ERROR, unfortunately; we are conditioned by our own defects, lamentably; each of us has a special characteristic, fully specified by some psychological defect. Each one of us is blinded, we might say, by some very wrong criterion.

We have by no means acquired the ability to see things in a new way. Unfortunately, we carry many old mistakes inside, and this conditions us unfavorably.

There is a need, my dear brethren, to have a more elastic, more ductile Mind; a Mind that is always open to new truths; an apprehensive, understanding, integral Mind.

It is urgent, above all, that we FREE THE MIND (it is, unfortunately, in the mold of so many “yesterdays”). We need to free it from those molds, from those formulas of the past; we need to turn the Mind into a wonderful instrument, which can receive the great truths.

Today, my dear brothers, all of us are formed by error, we are the product of many mistakes; and the most serious thing is that we do not want to see our own mistakes, that we do not want to see our own mistakes. Each of us slips into error, lives in error and dies in error…

If we understood all this, if we were able to eliminate the undesirable elements that we carry within us, life would be very different. But we don’t want to see our own mistakes, we always find justifications for any bad action, unfortunately.

We are like Pilate: We live washing our hands incessantly and saying: “No, I am not to blame”… We never want to admit our mistakes; We are never to blame.

It is fitting, my dear brethren, that at the end of this year we become more reflective, that we acquire more INDIVIDUALITY in our own Mind.

Today, unfortunately, we act and react incessantly like animals: If we are hit, we hit; if we are cursed, we curse; if they hate us, we hate; even more, we are accustomed to identify ourselves with facts and events that happen next to us, in a mechanical way.

We identify with the wrong actions of others, and we react where we don’t have to stick our noses in; And that is serious. And, unfortunately, we have not understood the need to individualize our Mind a little more.

We are always involved in other people’s things, we are always going from here to there, identified with scenes that have nothing to do with our lives, with events that are not ours; we give our opinion where we do not have to give an opinion; we say, when we should say nothing; and we even react with other people’s facts that have nothing to do with us…

Let’s see the people in the streets, in the public markets: It happens (many times), some mistake, someone attacks someone, there is any disorder… We immediately take sides; we speak out against someone who seemed unfair to us and we even react violently when they are not messing with us…

Our Mind has thus become a kind of sounding board for the actions of others; but it has not truly become a ductile, elastic and individual instrument for our own self-reflections.

People do with us what they want, because we do not have Mental Individuality. They all play with us: They can take us from pleasure to pain and from pain to pleasure, to their liking; they can make us commit the greatest follies; they can even make us react violently and even become murderers; and for the sake of many we can go to jail.

We don’t have a Mind that conforms to the practice of Individuality, we don’t have an Individual Mind, unfortunately.

Let us look at the crowds, let us see them in a public manifestation of hatred: How many who in their lives would never have been able to throw a stone at their neighbor’s house, already in the crowds, not only throw stones, but insult and even kill in the name of many slogans and many things that seem right to them!

And many, who alone are incapable of committing any crime, already there, in relation to the crowds, in a public demonstration…
