We will begin, naturally, by preparing the atmosphere with this esoteric talk, and then we will proceed with everything else. I hope that the brothers and sisters will give their full attention…
It is necessary to understand the need to LEARN HOW TO LIVE. The experiences of daily life are very useful; unfortunately, people reject them, judge them, detest them, etc. Many complain about themselves and about others, and it is astonishing to see how people underestimate experiences.
We must act in the opposite way: to take experiences for our own Self-Realization. In themselves, they can offer us sufficient didactic material for the development of the Essence, or in other words, FOR THE GROWTH OF THE SOUL.
Thus, EXPERIENCES ARE TRULY MAGNIFICENT. From every event it is possible to extract didactic material for the development of Consciousness; there is no other source like that of experience. Therefore, those who reject them, or those who protest against the painful experiences of life, obviously deprive themselves of the best: they deprive themselves precisely of the living source that can lead them to the strengthening of the inner life.
When one takes experiences as didactic material for one’s Self-Realization, one discovers one’s own psychological defects, because it is in relation with Humanity, in relation with our family members, and in relation with our co-workers (in the factory, in the field, etc.) that, through experiences, we achieve Self-Discovery.
Obviously, it is experiences that BRING OUT our own ERRORS.
The Need to be Alert and Vigilant for Self-Discovery
In the presence of those who insult us, for example, the ego of anger emerges; in the presence of wine, the ego of drunkenness emerges; in the presence of persons of the opposite sex, if we are not alert and vigilant like a watchman in times of war, lust emerges.
Thus, experiences are useful for knowing ourselves. Obviously, the main thing is NOT TO IDENTIFY with any event, with any occurrence, with any circumstance; we need to learn to observe the different events and circumstances without identifying with them. We must take advantage of every experience, no matter how painful it may be, for Self-Discovery.
When one observes oneself, one sees how useful experiences truly are. If we were to withdraw into a solitary cave without having discovered ourselves, without having known ourselves, without having dissolved the Ego, the result would be absolute failure.
In the Himalayas, many anchorites lived in caves and even developed certain SIDDHIS, that is, powers. These hermits, through rigorous esoteric disciplines, attained SAMADHI, and thus experienced it, penetrating into the ALAYA of the Universe and even losing themselves, for moments, in the SUPREME PARABRAHATMAN.
What really happened is that, trained in the most diverse disciplines of the mind, such cenobites were able to unbottle the Essence, the Consciousness, and this, in the absence of the Ego, came to experience THAT which is not of Time, that which is beyond the body, beyond affections, and beyond the mind.
The Experience of Samadhi
Enraptured, then, with the SOMA of Samadhi, they believed themselves to be Mahatmas. They never worked on the Ego, nor did they ever concern themselves with disintegrating the various psychic aggregates; they only specialized in the YOGA OF MEDITATION.
Once disincarnated, and since they had undoubtedly become athletes of the Science of Dhyani (Meditation), the Essence was, for a time, even able to penetrate into the “PLANETS OF CHRIST”, to float within the atmosphere of such planets (which are of a spiritual nature). Unfortunately, they were unable to enter the Corporations of those worlds…
After the ecstasy had passed, the Essence returned once again to the Ego, to the interior of the Ego. Later, they returned, they reincorporated, came back to life, and now, in the Western world, they are ordinary, common people; yet in the East, and even in Tibet, they are still venerated as Saints…
It is necessary to understand the need to disintegrate the Ego, and this would not be possible if we did not take advantage of the harsh experiences of life…
There are also people who, after a period of constant observation of the different events of existence, forget the work; then experiences begin to be taken again as before.
The Taste of Inner Work
When one takes the experiences of life as a means to an end—as a means for Self-Discovery, as a means for Self-Observation—one can savor them (THE TASTE OF WORK is something marvelous; it gives one an ineffable exquisiteness).
When one DISCOVERS that one has a particular PSYCHOLOGICAL DEFECT, and ELIMINATES IT, then one comes to SAVOR THE WORK (it is an unmistakable “taste”). But when, after having worked, one ABANDONS THE WORK on oneself and begins once again to take the experiences of life as before—that is, one reverses the meaning of experiences—then, undoubtedly, one will once again feel the same taste of daily routine, the same TASTE OF LIFE as always. Therefore, one must clearly distinguish between the TASTE OF WORK and the TASTE OF ROUTINE LIFE.
That is why I say to you, my dear brothers and sisters: do not flee from the experiences of life; take advantage of even the simplest experience for Self-Discovery.
Any event, no matter how insignificant it may be, allows us Self-Knowledge; for it is precisely in relation with different people that one comes to discover oneself, to discover one’s own errors. These emerge on their own, so spontaneously, that it is enough to be in a state of alertness to perceive them.
Self Discovery, Judgment and Execution
A defect that has been discovered must be worked on; it must be JUDGED, it must be correctly analyzed, it must be COMPREHENDED through the technique of meditation. Afterwards comes execution—the dissolution. Any psychic aggregate can be DISSOLVED with the help of DEVI KUNDALINI SHAKTI, our Divine Mother. If we supplicate Her to eliminate from within us the psychic aggregate that we have comprehended, She will do so; She will disintegrate it, and we will be freed from that defect…
How happy one feels when one eliminates a defect from within oneself; one feels as if an overwhelming burden had been lifted off one’s shoulders! How great the joy!…
And as the various psychic aggregates gradually disintegrate, the Essence—the Buddhata—is liberated; and when all the aggregates have been reduced to cosmic dust, EGOIC CONSCIOUSNESS VANISHES, and only the PURE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE BEING remains—the original, pristine Consciousness…
Thus, it is truly worthwhile to take advantage of the practical experiences of life for Self-Discovery; without them, Self-Discovery would not be possible…
The Illuminating Void
Those hermits who, in times past, secluded themselves in caves to meditate, sustaining themselves on herbs and roots from the forest, succeeded in becoming athletes of Samadhi; some even attained Satori. The Illuminating Void burst into their minds, yet they were never able to realize the Illuminating Void within themselves (one thing, my dear brothers and sisters, is to experience the Illuminating Void, and quite another, truly I tell you, is to realize the Illuminating Void within oneself).
There were saints, mystics, and hermits in the East who experienced the Illuminating Void, but since they did not work on themselves, since they did not eliminate the psychic aggregates, they were unable to realize the Illuminating Void within themselves.
To experience the nature of the Illuminating Void is useful, my dear brothers and sisters—very useful—but if we remain only at that stage of Being, if we do not INWARDLY SELF-REALIZE THE ILLUMINATING VOID, then, unfortunately, we will have wasted our time. We could not truly realize the Illuminating Void within ourselves if we did not first work on disintegrating the Ego—the “I,” the self. Thus, it is worthwhile to reflect deeply on all these things…
As we gradually disintegrate the Ego within ourselves, Consciousness will be liberated; and when we have achieved the absolute disintegration of the self, Consciousness will be completely free. Then the Illuminating Void will have been realized in each one of us…
Only those who have realized the Illuminating Void within themselves can live in the Planets of Christ. Know that around every sun that illumines us revolve the Planets of Christ; they are of a spiritual nature, not material.
The Two Natures
THERE ARE TWO NATURES: one is mutable, transitory, perishable (it is the nature of the PHYSICAL WORLD); but there is another nature—the nature of the “PLANETS OF CHRIST”—which is immortal, IMMUTABLE, imperishable, profoundly Divine. In those planets dwell Divine Humanities, and within each one of those beings, the Christ abides (the Christ shines within every creature).
But to attempt to become an inhabitant of the “Planets of the Lord” without having eliminated the Ego is absurd. To want to eliminate the Ego by renouncing the experiences of life, or by protesting against them, or by falling into despair, or by identifying with every event, is foolish; for the didactic material for Self-Realization does not come from anywhere other than the experiences of life.
Thus, let us take every experience, no matter how painful it may be, with joy; let us reflect that it provides us with sufficient didactic material for Self-Realization. Let us not make the mistake of identifying ourselves with any event, nor should we make the mistake of rejecting any event; every experience of life is useful…
The Three Minds
When we have dissolved the totality of the Ego, our Inner Mind will have opened… I have already told you that there are Three Minds, and today I repeat it: the first we may call the SENSUAL MIND (in it is found the “LEAVEN OF THE SADDUCEES,” coarse and materialistic); the second is the INTERMEDIATE MIND, and the third is the INNER MIND. In the “Intermediate Mind” are found the beliefs of the various religions (this is the “LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES”)…
Jesus the Christ said: “Beware of the leaven of the Sadducees and of the Pharisees”—that is to say—“beware of the doctrines of the materialistic Sadducees and of the hypocritical Pharisees” (these are words from the Gospel of the Lord).
What can the SENSUAL MIND know about the Real, about the Truth? Nothing! Why? Because it forms its concepts of content exclusively from the data provided by the five senses.
The INTERMEDIATE MIND also knows nothing of the Real; there are the Doctrines of the Pharisees; and we well know that they attend their Temples so that others may see them, they participate in their Holy Offices or Rites so that others may speak well of them, but they never work on themselves; they base their Religion exclusively on beliefs, and that is absurd…
With the death of the Ego, the INNER MIND opens, and it is different: It functions with the springs of Consciousness, it receives data from the Superlative Consciousness of Being, and with such data it elaborates its concepts of content…
Since the Transcendental and Superlative Consciousness of the Being has the power to experience the Real, the Truth, obviously the Inner Mind, being thus informed, has solid data to elaborate its concepts of content (for this reason the Inner Mind is called “OBJECTIVE REASON,” and for this reason the Sensual Mind is called “SUBJECTIVE REASON”).
Whoever has developed the Inner Mind knows the Real, the Truth, knows That which is beyond the body, beyond the emotions, and beyond the Mind; knows the Mysteries of Life and Death, not because others tell them or fail to tell them, but through Direct Mystical Experience.
The Six Degrees of Objective Reason
Whoever has developed Objective Reason is an ENLIGHTENED ONE. However, there are SIX DEGREES of development of OBJECTIVE REASON; these Six Degrees are known by the TRIDENTS that exist upon the HORNS… To which ‘Horns’ am I referring? To the SILVER HORNS of the Hierophants, to the HORNS OF LUCIFER (this Lucifer is nothing other than the REFLECTION OF THE LOGOS within us, the Shadow of the Lord, located inside ourselves, within our Interior Universe, for our own good)…

Could we perhaps ascend to the Father’s Golgotha by any other path than the body of Lucifer, the back of Lucifer? Impossible!… Could anyone, perhaps, work in the Forge of the Cyclops without the impulse of Lucifer? Impossible!… Lucifer gives the impulse; and if we know how to thrust the Spear into his side, we conquer him… THE DRAGON CONQUERED, WE ASCEND, using his back as a ladder…
Temptation is Fire; the triumph over temptation is Light
If we manage to conquer Lucifer, we ascend, degree by degree, upon his back; every triumph over Lucifer implies, in fact, a step in the ascent, and thus, step by step, we reach the SUMMIT OF THE BEING, we climb the MOUNTAIN OF THE BEING. [The] Six Degrees of development of Objective Reason are found upon the Horns of Lucifer.
Yes, therein lies the basis. As long as one has one Trident upon those Horns, one has only ascended one degree; and whoever has two Tridents indicates a second degree of development in their Objective Reason; and whoever has three has perfected their Mind to the Third Degree of their Objective Perfection.
But whoever possesses the Six Degrees, the SIX TRIDENTS upon their horns, will have reached ABSOLUTE PERFECTION in the Objective Reason of the Being; they will have arrived at the SACRED ANKLAD, and will be able to remain within it. They will be perfect, and all the CHOIRS OF EGOLATRIES of this Universe—the Four Great Choirs or Groups—will obey and venerate them… or rather, shall we say, will obey and venerate Him.
To possess the Six Degrees of Objective Reason is to have reached Absolute Enlightenment, to the absolute Objective Knowledge (without gaps) of the Mysteries of Life and Death, of the Mysteries of the Logos, of the Mysteries of the Abyss and of Heaven; it is to have completely opened one’s Mind to the Real. Therefore, whoever reaches the Sixth Degree may rest in the Sacred Anklad; whoever reaches the Sixth Degree finds themselves only three Degrees away from THE INFINITUDE THAT SUSTAINS ALL, and this must be understood correctly… I wish, then, for the brothers and sisters to reflect deeply upon this…
Objective Reason vs. The Psychic Powers of the Chakras
Much has been said regarding the ‘CHAKRAS,’ the ‘Disks,’ or ‘Magnetic Wheels’ of the Astral Body. Are they useful? Yes, they are useful; however, all of those ‘wheels,’ chakras, or magnetic disks, etc.—despite being so marvelous (as they allow us Extra-perceptions)—result, in truth, as mere tallow candles before the Objective Reason of the Being.
Clarivoyance, for example, can be very beautiful… Who would deny the intrinsic powers of the chakras? Who would deny the intrinsic powers of the Ajna-Chakra? Yet, in themselves, they are like the fire of a matchstick compared to the light of the Sun; such they are when compared to the Enlightenment provided by the Objective Reason of the Being.
Therefore, what is the maximum—or the maximum Powers—that the Gnostic anchorite can achieve? Will they be in the chakras? Where will they be? In truth, brothers and sisters, I tell you: Those are not in the chakras. Then, where are they? I tell you truly: They are in the Objective Reason of the Being. However, to perfect the Objective Reason of the Being, the elimination of the subjective elements of perceptions is required; or in other terms: The elimination of the various ‘I’s’ (Egos).
If we proceed in this manner, if we resolve ourselves to pass through the ‘BUDDHIST ANNIHILATION’—so feared by the gentlemen of Theosophism—then, and only then, will we truly be able to rest in the Sacred Anklad…
There are TWO PSYCHISMS: the LOWER, which is related to the chakras; and the HIGHER, which belongs to the Superlative and Transcendental Consciousness of the Being, to the Ethnic Values of the Divinal and the Transcendental, to the Universal Spiritual-Divinal Culture…
To say that the Lower Psychism does not fulfill certain purposes would be absurd to deny; it does fulfill some purposes… That the development of the chakras is useless—I do not say so, I do not think so; it is useful to a certain point, but it is not everything…
When one has awakened Consciousness and has truly opened the Objective Reason, and when that Objective Reason or Interior Mind can serve as an instrument to the Consciousness, then the Enlightenment of the Being is absolute. It surpasses all chakras, it goes beyond the chakras, and enters the terrain of the Super-Man, of the Buddha, of the Enlightened Buddha.
The Interior Mind and the Sacrifice of Identity
I want the brothers and sisters to comprehend this intrinsic, so very profound aspect; I want you to also understand, for this reason, the necessity of passing through the BUDDHIST ANNIHILATION. If you were to do so, you will not regret it: you will open your Interior Mind and you will come to possess Enlightenment.
I do not mean to say that the experience of the Illuminating Void is not possible before this—it is possible! However, as I have already told you: one thing is the experience of the Illuminating Void, and quite another is the Intimate Realization of the Illuminating Void.
Any anchorite can experience the Illuminating Void, but that does not necessarily imply the Intimate Self-Realization of the Illuminating Void. No one could truly Self-Realize the Illuminating Void within themselves as long as they have not eliminated or disintegrated all of those inhuman psychic aggregates that we carry within… It is worth our while, then, to understand all of this, and to reflect deeply…
In the process of the disintegration of the Ego, we must bleed profoundly, and ‘we need to wash our feet with the blood of the heart,’ if we truly wish to become completely pure.
The Intimate Self-Realization of the Being is a very grave matter—extremely grave; one must pass through frightful tortures. Often, one has to renounce what one loves most; one must always be willing to lose what is most cherished. And I repeat: “To wash one’s feet in the blood of the heart”…
One needs to become something different, something distinct; even PERSONAL IDENTITY ITSELF MUST BE LOST. This means that one day we shall look for our very own current Identity and we will no longer find it; it will have been lost to ourselves, because we will have become something different. We need to become distinct, different, to change radically; but, how could we change totally if we were to preserve our current Identity?
In this path, my dear brothers and sisters, there are painful processes, very painful ones; whoever wishes to BEGIN WITH SUCCESS, must begin WITH CERTAIN PHYSICAL, DISCIPLINARY SACRIFICES…
In my current existence, I began by walking through entire countries on foot, without a single cent in my pocket, sleeping in the mountains, wrapped in my own ‘rags’ to defy the plague, arriving in towns with no money, or perhaps lying down out there, beneath the eaves of houses (when they had such roofs or eaves, for now buildings have become so cruel that if the rain falls upon you, you have no choice but to endure it; such is the cruelty of these times!)…
And I do not regret having walked through entire countries without money; I do not regret having suffered the storm and the hurricanes; I do not regret having arrived in towns where no one knew me and without a cent in my pocket…
That is how I began, and it served me greatly. I began in a natural way; my Father who is in Secret willed that I begin that way, and so I did. Others have had to begin in this manner because their Guru established it so for their own good…
The Importance of the Guru and his Guidance
I know the case of a Guru with black, piercing eyes and a black mustache, who organized a Caravan for his disciples… He traversed entire countries to reach Persia from Russia; walking through the snow, women and men, some with bare feet, bleeding, sleeping in the mountains, exposed to wolves, yet firm in the discipline! And thus, arriving in that country of Persia, simply to find an empty house to live in!…
‘Nonsense!’ – anyone would say. ‘How is such a journey possible, with a group of people who are suffering, across mountains and ice, sleeping at night in the jungles, exposed to wolves and winter? To what end? (It would seem incongruent). To arrive, finally, at a house they have rented? One does not need all of that for such a thing; for that, one could have made the journey in a marvelous automobile or an airplane’…
The Guru knew what he was doing. If the disciple went to the right, the Guru pulled him to the left; if the disciple pulled to the left, the Guru—as if with a horse—pulled the reins so that he would veer to the right… And by suffering a little, his disciples were forged, from the beginning, in harsh discipline and turned out to be magnificent…
It was also my turn to be forged, in the beginning, in that harsh discipline; my Father who is in Secret willed it so. I had not understood it; much later, in time, I understood: that He had followed with me the same process that all the Gurujis of times past have followed, subjecting students, first of all, to those harsh trials, and there is no doubt that the students who passed through them were magnificent…
Thus, dear brothers and sisters, one has to eliminate from oneself many terrible customs (acquired habits) that one is unaware of having; meaningless mechanical movements, etc. One has to become conscious of all of one’s gestures and attitudes, and eliminate that which is useless; all of this requires a very rigorous observation of oneself.
In the beginning, that HARSH DISCIPLINE of painful and cruel journeys, of the tortures of the path, is convenient IN ORDER TO FORGE ONESELF from the start AS ONE MUST BE FORGED: IN THE STRUGGLE!…
We must not give up, then, in the matter of Psychological Self-Observation. As one self-observes, one discovers that many ‘I’s’ (Egos) one had—’I’s’ that one was unaware of possessing (one is left astonished when one self-discovers).
The Unknown part of Ourselves
What would we say of an honest, sincere, hardworking gentleman, a magnificent citizen, irreproachable, incapable of taking a cent from anyone, who suddenly discovers that in the depths of himself, he possesses a few THIEF ‘I’s’? ‘Impossible!’—anyone would say—’impossible!’… No, in this, there is nothing impossible!…
And what would we say of an honest lady, a magnificent wife, virtuous, devoted to her home, who suddenly—by self-exploring deeply—discovers in the depths of herself an entire legion of prostitute ‘I’s’? ‘How incongruent!’ – many would say upon hearing such an explanation – ‘how illogical, how paradoxical!’…
But in the terrain of Deep Psychology, all of this is possible. In the depths of each one of us, there is a mistaken creation: ‘I’s’ from ancient times, ‘I’s’ that personify frightful errors; the gravest part is that within them, the Consciousness is bottled up, always entangled, always processing itself by virtue of its own bottling…
And what is THE WORST OBSTACLE that exists for the DISSOLUTION OF THE EGO? What would be the worst inconvenience? LUST? Yes! (It is a terrible word). But, who does not have it? Who among those present here could say they have never had lust? How difficult it is to uproot it from oneself!…
When we analyze any ‘I’ of lust, we come to evidence that IT PROCESSES ITSELF in each of the THREE BRAINS in a different way: In the purely Emotional Brain, let us say, it expresses itself as ‘Love’; in the purely Motor-Instinctive-Sexual Brain, through eroticism; in the exclusively Intellectual Brain, with projects and plans related to ‘Love,’ or to the being one loves, or believes they love; nevertheless, behold—all of these are but phenomena of the same ‘I’ called ‘Lust’…
But, see how differently it manifests in the Intellectual Brain, what another form it assumes in the heart, and finally, what its modus operandi is in the Motor-Instinctive-Sexual Center… I repeat: In the Motor-Instinctive-Sexual Center, as animal passion; in the heart, lust assumes another form that we could label as ‘Love’; and in the Intellect, it assumes another form (as projects related to that ‘Love,’ as memories of that ‘Love’). And the fact is that each ‘I’ has its Three Brains: the Intellectual, the Emotional, and the Motor-Instinctive-Sexual; each ‘I’ is a person with its Three Brains; that is obvious.
Thus, within our person, there are thousands of people, and each one of them is organized with its own Three Brains; hence, the Personality is nothing more than a puppet, pulled by invisible strings…
And there are ‘I’s’ that are very difficult to uproot from oneself, to disintegrate—’I’s’ that are confused with ‘Spirituality’ and with ‘Love’… It is necessary to possess, let us say, a ‘clinical eye’ to see oneself, to always have at one’s disposal that finest scalpel of SELF-CRITICISM, to open up everything one has inside and perform a dissection of one’s Values; only thus can one truly know what one authentically possesses. MUCH OBSERVATION IS NEEDED, my dear brothers and sisters!..
We are frighteningly weak, yet we believe ourselves to be very strong; we are contemptible creatures, exaggeratedly weak… We could do nothing if we did not have help, which we obviously do: we count on the power of the Sacred Serpent, with THE DIVINE MOTHER KUNDALINI; ONLY SHE can truly ASSIST US in disintegrating the ‘I’s’.
Only She, with her flames, can reduce any ‘I’ to cosmic dust. But to attempt to disintegrate the ‘I’s’ without relying on the help of Devi-Kundalini Shakti is to condemn oneself to failure, and that is lamentable…
Someone, whose name I shall not mention, committed the error of attributing to the ASCENDING SERPENT all the sinister and left-handed characteristics of the DESCENDING SERPENT…
There are two Serpents
There are two Serpents: the one that rises and the one that descends.
- The one that rises is the KUNDALINI; She carves Her path through the Sushumna canal, along the Spinal Medulla, and reaches the brain and subsequently the heart.
- The other, the one that descends, plunges from the coccyx toward the Atomic Infernos of man: it is the abominable KUNDABUFFER ORGAN; Yes, the abominable Kundabuffer Organ, or the ‘Python’ Serpent that crawled through the mud of the earth, had the power to make us fall into error; the other, the ascending one, is different: She has the power to liberate us from error.

In the past, it is clear that certain Sacred Individuals made a mistake and implanted the abominable Kundabuffer Organ into the nature of the human being; but, how could we become sane? One would have to implant another Organ into the human organism, one like the ‘Kundabuffer,’ but positive, luminous, antithetical—the opposite of the ‘Kundabuffer’…
It exists, indeed, and it is the Kundalini. The word itself says it: ‘Kunda-Lini’; ‘KUNDA’ reminds us of the abominable Kundabuffer Organ; ‘LINI’ means ‘End’ (‘The end of the abominable Kundabuffer Organ’). This means: as the Serpent Kundalini ascends, the abominable Kundabuffer Organ is reduced to cosmic dust…
In ‘Genesis,’ the TEMPTING SERPENT OF EDEN appears—the horrible Python with seven heads that crawled through the mud of the earth and which an irritated Apollo wounded with his darts; that is the abominable Kundabuffer Organ. But also, in Ancient Wisdom, MOSES appears with the BRAZEN SERPENT that entwined itself upon the TAU, or the Generating Lingam (that is the Kundalini).
Gurdjieff committed the error of confusing ‘the Kundalini’ with the ‘Kundabuffer’—the Serpent that rises with the one that descends—and he attributes to the ascending one all the sinister, dark powers of the Descending Serpent. Therein lies his error, and therein lies the cause why his disciples did not manage to dissolve the ‘I’s’; that was his great mistake!…
Comprehension and Desintegration
Based on mere Comprehension alone, it is not possible to dissolve the ‘I’s’. I do not deny that with the KNIFE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, by vividly comprehending any ‘I,’ we can SEPARATE IT from ourselves, from our psyche; but that, my dear brothers and sisters, is not enough. Because the ‘I’ SEPARATED from our psyche will continue to live; it will not resign itself to staying far from home; it will try time and again to reoccupy its place; it will become a TEMPTING DEMON…
One must DESINTEGRATE the ‘I’ that has been separated from oneself by the KNIFE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, and no one can disintegrate it with any other Power than the Power of the Divine Mother Kundalini; only She can reduce it to ashes, to cosmic dust…
Thus, the fundamental thing, my dear brothers and sisters, is to DIE WITHIN ONESELF, definitively, in order to be able to open the Interior Mind and enjoy Objective Reason, which is the True Cognition of the Real, the Intimate Experience of the Being, the Transcendental and Divinal Buddhic Vision, beyond the body, the affections, and the Subjective Mind.
As you digest all of this, you will also understand the necessity of living alert and vigilant, like a watchman in times of war, always working in a constant manner. Because as you are, as you find yourselves at this precise moment, you are useless: You possess a mistaken creation, manifesting through a False Personality; SPIRITUALLY YOU ARE DEAD, you have no reality whatsoever. As you are, all of you must cease to exist, because if you continue existing as you are, you will have to enter the MINERAL INVOLUTION within the bowels of the Earth; as you are, you are spiritually dead, you do not possess the Objective Reason of the Being, you have not achieved Enlightenment; you lie like shadows amidst the profound darkness…
What is your reality? Shadows, and nothing more than that: Shadows!… You need to open the Interior Mind, but to do so, you must cease to exist as miserable shadows; you must become ruthless with yourselves, because, as of today, you love yourselves too much, you SELF-CONSIDER TOO MUCH.
But what is it that you love? Your beloved Ego, your nakedness, your interior misery, the darkness in which you find yourselves? Is that what you love so much? No, brothers and sisters, reflect deeply, reflect!
You must dedicate yourselves to working intensely upon yourselves; you must comprehend the process of Lust, which is the worst enemy of the elimination of the Ego, the worst enemy of its dissolution…
Who does not have it? Who has not had it? Nevertheless, it must be reduced to ashes…
Does any brother have a question?
Q & A
– Student. Gurdjieff is called “Master.” Did he work in the Ninth Sphere, or did he only work on the dissolution of the Ego through comprehension?
– Master. He worked in the Ninth Sphere, he fabricated the Superior Existential Bodies of the Being, but he did not achieve the total dissolution of the ego because he rejected his Divine Mother.
How can the ungrateful son dissolve the ego? The ungrateful son makes no progress in these studies. First of all, before reaching the Father, we must reach the Mother; that is obvious… Does any other brother have any questions regarding this?
– Student. Master, why, being your disciple, did Gurdjieff not know that the only path to the dissolution of the Ego was with the Divine Mother Kundalini?
– Master. He forgot his foundation! In past lives he was under my instruction, but in his last existence, since he was far from me, he also forgot his Divine Mother. That was his mistake, that!
Without that Fohatic power, no one can disintegrate psychic aggregates; because one, alone, accomplishes nothing. The Knife of Consciousness allows one to separate the Egos one has comprehended, to separate them from one’s psyche, but that does not mean dissolution… I repeat: Such Egos will struggle, incessantly, to reconstitute themselves within the organic machine…
Is there any other brother who has a question? I don’t want you to refrain from asking questions, but rather to ask, because if one doesn’t ask, one doesn’t understand; sometimes it’s necessary to ask. Parsifal, on his first arrival at the Castle of Transcendent Monsalvat, didn’t become King of the Grail because he didn’t ask the reason for Amfortas’s suffering… So, one must always ask. Speak, brother…
– Student. Master, how many processes are required to acquire the Objective Reason of Being?
– Master. TO REACH OBJECTIVE REASON THERE ARE SIX STEPS. Obviously, Objective Reason has Six Steps, but the highest of the Six Steps belongs to the Sacred Anklad, and is three steps away from the Infinity that sustains all… Now, how many processes, you ask…
You must first die completely to yourself; if you do not disintegrate the ego, you cannot develop objective reason. But as you progress deeply in the destruction of the self, the objective reason of being opens up; when you achieve one hundred percent dissolution of the ego, the objective reason of being within yourself will have reached the fullness of perfection; then you will be enlightened, absolutely enlightened, and you will know through vivid, direct experience all the mysteries of the universe, you will be ignorant of nothing, and you will have all the powers of the cosmos.
This goes beyond the chakras; the chakras, I repeat, are but pale flames before the light of the Sun; useful, but very incipient… Any further questions, brothers?…
– Student. Master, those Tridents you speak of, do they have any relation to the…?
– Master. This is a whole other story! Let’s not mix the different sciences, because we would become iconoclasts. What is an “iconoclast”? A person who dissects everything and mixes everything up, and ends up with nothing. We are not iconoclasts; let’s leave each subject of study in its place, without mixing things up. “Let’s not confuse apples and oranges”… Any other questions, brothers?
